    Description

    EXTREMELY RARE, PRECIOUS And ELEGANT
“Yes O.K. / Fountain Pen - Co. Brook (Mass),” By OMAS
    -
MICRO SAFETY FOUNTAIN PEN ( 8 cm )- The KING 14K GOLD flexy NIB ( Also, first King Production was by OMAS )
Extremely Rare and incredible BLACK BCHR, Seems RELEASED YESTERDAY FROM FACTORY! From End 20's -
    INCREDIBLE NEVER USED!
“Yes O.K.” has increased in recent years, following their inclusion in a list of products made by Omas to fill orders for other firms contained in the book Stilografiche
Omas dal 1925 ad oggi (Omas fountain pens from 1925 through today), published by the Club Internazionale della Penna Stilografica A. Simoni. To date,
the only Yes O.K. pens known in the collecting world are black hard rubber safeties, in three sizes, that feature a characteristic vertical line pattern. On the barrel,
there is the wording, on two lines, “Yes O.K. / Fountain Pen - Co. Brook (Mass),” with a tiny stylized globe – obviously inspired by Waterman –
in the middle with the wording “U.S.A./Trade Mark.” These fountain pens would therefore appear to have their origins in the United States. In reality,
however, they are simply one more example of the widespread Italian practice during the twenties and thirties of using foreign words to help entirely
Italian-made products establish a place for themselves on the market and increase sales. As regards the true origins of Yes O.K. fountain pens, it is difficult to say,
partly because of the extreme simplicity of these pens, whether they were made by Omas.
The Annuari del Politecnico Italiano (Italian polytechnic yearbooks) include the Yes O.K. brand among the products of the firm Italpen of 3 Via U. Foscolo, Milan.
Sorry for  this long exlanation but i think was important celebrate this very important piece of history,
