Antique HYDE Black Leather 1950 Basketball High Top Sneakers Shoes /Converse // I sold these last week on a 5 day auction. The high bidder turned out to be DEAD BEAT // So please if you are looking at these very rare sneakers , that these are in very nice shape as seen in our detail photos
I found these in a home and were their fathers. They people having the sale were in their 70's, so these date back from late 1940's or 1950's. I also found a color ad about the shoes on the internet as pictured / Offered is a super rare pair of leather hightop sneakers. Leather is soft and supple comes with original shoelaces normal wear to the soles plenty of life in these beauties. These shoes are ready to wear or display on the shelf. The leather Construction features quality stitch construction as evident through the side and uppers as seen in photos. The soul is red with the HYDE logo. I have taken 12 photos for you to view the size and condition .. There was no markings for size so I took off the shoe strings and placed a tape measure for you to see it measures 11 1/2 inches on the inside and on the out side over 12 inches. I then placed it on my foot where I wear a 11 1/2 to 12 shoe size and they fit me nicely.. GREAT RARE FIND !!
