Vintage Mens Western Boots Leather Brown 11 1/2D Lucchese 1” Pitched Roper Heel

This
vintage
pair of
brown leather
boots are in very good shape.
They are #L2611,
size 11 1/2D
and appear to be the
shorter roper
shaft
(12in” overall height)
“Bannock” style with a pitched 1” roper walking heel,
and a medium round/C toe, with acrylic “taps” on the heels and toes.
These boots were my dad's, and
the
re is a
1 1/8 in. hole cut through the sole
s of both boots
(see photos)
.
There are also slight variations in the polishing used/applied.
My dad had bunions and I think he cut the hole
s
in order to wear them. He has at least 20 pairs of them, some with holes in one boot, some with holes in both, and some with none, depending on the brand. Nonetheless, they've been cared for and repairs would probably be around .00 per boot.
