    Description

    Vintage Frye Boots Brown 7.5D 1969 Well Cared For. Manufactured at the Frye Boot factory in Marlboro, Massachusetts for Walker's Riding Apparel on Boylston St., Boston (confirmed) winter 1969. (See pic of young man in the snow) Over the years the boots have been resoled, reheeled and one boot had the shank replaced--metal in the sole to give shape and strength. Worn to work, at play and of course on a horse (see pic of 30-something man bareback wearing the boots 1982 Central Oregon). Alas I've outgrown them so someone new can carry on the tradition.
