Vintage Adidas Meteor Track Spikes (1970's, Replacement Box)

These are the
original
Meteor silhouette. The model and application/sport has changed several times over the years, but this was the first iteration as far as I know (late 1960's)
Please note this when browsing other pairs that bear the 'Meteor' name, as most (if not all) are not the same as these.
If you collect vintage Adidas or track memorabilia, this is certainly a rarer pair. Especially given the numerous re-introductions of the model over the years.
These are in the wrong box (though the box is for an original pair of Country's, which are even rarer than these)
In fact, the Country box might have more value to collectors than the pair for sale here, but I can't speculate.
I believe that they are size 10, as stamped on the inside (and as pictured) though I cannot be 100% sure.
I seem to recall that the heels on these might still have some tape residue.
The painted leather and suede accents on these still feels supple and seems to be in great shape.
In general, they have clearly been worn at some point in time. Please expect the usual signs of wear and age, as you would with any vintage item.
I still could not, and would not, encourage that these be worn again. Selling them as a collectors item, please understand that before purchasing.
Only partially cleaned up, will likely need a more detailed restoration at some point in the near future. Residual dust and dirt as a result, though very minimal.
No odors either; they just appear more worn than they likely were.
