Vintage 1951 Military Snow Boots Mens 7W Womens 8.5 Mickey Mouse Bunny Boots NOS

This is a pair of the military issue extreme cold weather boots, commonly called “Mickey Mouse” boots or “Bunny” boots. They are made of heavy duty rubber with insulating layers of felt inside. These were designed to be worn in the most extreme of cold environments by the US Military.
Sizing on these is made big with the intent to wear thick socks and multiple socks with them for maximum warmth, so if they seem loose when you first try them on with thin socks keep this in mind.
This pair is a men’s size 7W, Women’s 8.5W. These days from the mid-late 50’s or early 60’s based on the markings. This pair is unworn and still has the factory tag on the laces and the factory- almost 70 years and never worn! They do have the typical storage wear and dust because the military bulk packed these in big cases.
A very nice example of a vintage Mickey Mouse boot that you can still wear.
