TO ALL BIDDERS, PLEASE READ ALL OF THE LISTING AND POLICIES BEFORE YOU BID! MOST OF THESE OLD ITEMS COME FROM ATTICS, BARNS, BASEMENTS ETC... AND HAVE LIVED THROUGH MANY GENERATIONS OF FAMILIES! IF SMOKE, PETS, MUSTY ODORS ETCBOTHER YOU, PLEASE DO NOT BID HERE. LIVING IN SOUTH LOUISIANA MY ENTIRE LIFE, I HAVE SINUS ISSUES AND NO SENSE OF SMELL!!!
For your bidding consideration today, fresh from a local estate auction, we have a pair of antique boots, that in all honesty, I don’t know what they are!!! I have searched high and low, and I have not seen anything like these, the closest is the image in the last photo. These boots are made of purple velvet, they lace on the insides, and they are heavily studded with silver metal pieces. They are much higher in the front of the boot than the back. They are made by the Henderson Ames Co, and the last photo is from a 1920’s catalog that I saw online, and that is the closest image that I could find. The velvet reminds me of the old Victorian photo albums, it is rubbed off in all of the usual wear places, the laces have all metal tips present. There are some missing rivets that the shoe laces go through. These are large shoes, they measure 11 1/4” long, 3 1/2” long at the widest, 21” tall in the front of the boot, 13” tall in the back of the boot. Even though the velvet has heavy wear, these are a striking pair of boots and are certainly to be a conversation piece! If any experts out there have any information on these, I would love to hear from you. Check
out our other listings, we love to combine on shipping!!!Emails with offers to purchase items at reduced prices will not be answered. I have several outlets to sell items, so if you are interested in an item, please bid on it!

Buyer pays actual shipping only, whether you buy one item or several, we love to combine on shipping, and I never charge a handling fee.(Please remember this when you leave your star rating). Our home is smoke and pet free, but a lot of our items come from estate sales, and we don't know what the conditions were in the homes.
