Kaiser RS-1 Copy Stand

Description

This is a Kaiser RS1 copy stand with two arms that attach four light fixtures. A new one is around eight hundred dollars at B&H or Adorama.  Add the current Kaiser light set and you’re pushing two thousand. It isn’t in perfect condition, but I’ve used it happily without problems. Here are the differences from a new one.
The plugs are European style. This is a non issue, as I’ll provide the proper adapters to plug into US sockets. Just match the bulbs to the power (110 in the US). Bulbs are standard sockets like most of the bulbs in your house. I’ve used a variety of bulbs in it, from photo color to the LEDs that are in the photos.
(I’m not shipping the bulbs as they’d be a breakage hazard unless I shipped them separately. That would cost the buyer more than it would be worth.)
The screw that attaches a camera to the stand is missing a washer. I just used a piece of duck tape to hold the screw in place. Once you attach the camera, it’s sound and secure.
There are a couple of minor dings on the base—see the photos. Very minor, and they don’t affect performance.
One wire guide on top of a light fixture is broken. Really a trivial thing, but needs mentioning.
It is about as well made an item as I’ve ever seen. It totally breaks down without tools but is amazingly sturdy when assembled. If you need a copy stand, this is a great one.
