    Description

    A dramatic necklace with a large, very old and beauitifull, carnelian hand-made, bead at its center(53mm x 17mm). This rare and impressive bead is flanked by silver & alloy spheres; two red cornalin d'Aleppo cylinder beads; two lovely fancy black Venetian lampwork beads; cranberry white hearts and rare, black-with-colored swirl beads from the African trade. Finished with red green hearts and small metal beads. The necklace is 23 inches long.
    I use ancient, antique, trade, vintage and even, on occasion, new beads. I arrange them into interesting, original patterns to make one-of-a-kind necklaces that have a classic feel. Some old beads have imperfections; to me, that's part of their character, their history. They are, after all, artifacts; connections to the past.
